Its been awhile

I have officially been living in the ocean playground for more then 3 months! Crazy right.  I have a job, new friends, new stories, and starting tomorrow new classes.  In the past few months lots has happened, i attended my grandfathers funeral, had visits from friends and family and watched many different series on DVD.  Productive much??  I love Halifax and when i came here i thought i would stay for school and retreat back to the comforts of home.  But i think Hali is my new home and i want to see what it will offer me down the road.  My next plan of action here, finding a house to rent..... until next time my lovely-donair-bears

So tonight the post is going to be pretty uneventful.  There was some fun jamming at the local tavern and cheap pints to be had.  In the last couple of days we had a legit NHL player (Duncan Keith) come in for a hair cut and my pal Jess debut her singing talents which were outstanding.  I am going to keep this super short, i also hit the wheelers again and got some awesome new products.Now to McDicks!!!  Until next time my pretty-old Milwaukee-himalayan cats

I am super stoked i didn't need to smuggle liquor into the bar we were at tonight!  i feel super classy and like i should be on sex in the city.  So anyways i ended up at the jack astors re-opening party in Calgary tonight, and surprisingly it was bumpen!  There were a lot of free drinks and tapas to be had which is always dope as well as some decent tuneage.   I think i ended up spending a total of 30$ bucks which is pretty outstanding for me.  Here are a couple photos to sum up the night... That beer packed a lot of punch.

cheapest person ever

Ok so tonight i went to the moxie's lounge downtown to watch a friend spin with virtually no money.  I am going to describe for you in great detail how broke i am.  So for the past two days i have been avoiding any kind of activity making these past two days pretty awful.  I already talked about how i cleaned my car and made crunk jenga, i also watched like 6 episodes of Dexter and attempted to run on my treadmill (the treadmill was an epic fail).  I have also been running on an empty tank of gas so i also cant leave my house. i swear i had an early stage of cabin fever as i taught myself some of the choreography from lady gagas judas.  Earlier this week i promised my little sister id go to this moxie's event and here's where the story gets sad.  Fist of all she had to give me 20$ bucks to get me a quarter of a tank of gas and a small red bull.  She also ended up paying for my dinner and drink.  After not being able to feed myself it got worse as i only ordered cokes and spiked them with some of my moms rum that i had to smuggle in a flask.  So that's been the gist of my week and i get paid tomorrow so lets hope i don't blow it all at the wheelers again.  Until next time my crunk-jellybean-poodles 

Fun In The Sun

So it was a balmy 25degrees today!!  It was a pretty rad day for getting some chores done.  What did i do you ask, well ill fill you in.  I was rudely awaken from an awesome dream i was having by my friend (i wont name names) around 1030am.  I then proceeded to my morning ritual of hitting the snooze button until about 1130.   Its been a pretty rough week for me on account Ive been going to the rippers a few to many times.  My despicable habit has reduced my bank account substantially, i just love those damn posters.  So my cheap activity of the day which exposed me to as much UV rays as possible was to clean my car.  I kind of look at it this way, i can pump my music and imagine myself in a scene from grease or cars.  Hey what can i say it passed the time and to show for it i have a clean febreezy smelling car.  And i decided to finish my productive afternoon off by writing on my new jenga set( yes the kids block game) and morphed it into a drinking came titled "crunk jenga".  Crunk Jenga is virtually kings or sociables on blocks but its even harder because stacking blocks when drunk is a difficult feat.  Now i only wonder what tomorrow will bring me, hopefully its just as productive.  Well until next time my fluffy-liquorice-pandas!

First Post!!

  Hello to everyone out there in Internet land! This is my first post and i want to start it out with a little introduction of yours truly.  My name is Megan and I hail from Calgary Alberta.  I am 22years young and on my way to Halifax Nova Scotia in about a month.  There are to many things i enjoy doing so ill keep it short and sweet.  I love food and travel, and when the two are together its magic.  Music is also a big part of my life but don't ask me to play you anything, i just like to have a good listen.  Basically i am starting this blog to document the hilarity that may ensue during my 4000km road trip.  Knowing myself and how i act when deprived of sleep there will be many stories.  And this blog is also to keep my droogs up to date on my life or lack there of when i get to Hali.  Well till next time all you cuddly-frosting-bunnies (thank you Jenna Marbles for teaching me how to give the best nicknames)
